You Couldn’t Ignore Me If You Tried Brat Pack Trivia Sweepstakes
In honor of the publication of You Couldn’t Ignore Me If You Tried: The Brat Pack, John Hughes, and Their Impact on a Generation by Susannah Gora and The 25th Anniversary of “The Breakfast Club” on February 15, we’re running a special Twitter contest. Beginning the day before publication day, Monday, February 8, 2010, and running through Friday, February 12, 2010, the book’s publisher, @CrownPublishing, will tweet a Brat Pack trivia question each day, along with the hashtag #BratPack. Tweet your answer, include the #BratPack hashtag, and you’ll be eligible to win a copy of You Couldn’t Ignore Me If You Tried as well as a DVD of the classic Brat Pack film, “The Breakfast Club”.
HOW TO ENTER:
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. Enter by responding to one of the quiz questions on Twitter to @crownpublishing and including the #BratPack hashtag between 10:00:00 A.M. (ET) February 8, 2010 and 11:59:59 P.M. (ET) on February 12, 2010. LIMIT ONE ENTRY PER PERSON. MULTIPLE TWEETS FROM THE SAME PERSON AND/OR TWITTER ACCOUNT WILL BE VOID.
Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late or misdirected tweets; computer malfunctions, including but not limited to any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission or communications line failure; or theft, destruction or unauthorized access to entrant’s Twitter account. Tweets that contain errors, are incomplete, corrupted or illegible will not be accepted. Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify entries from anyone tampering with the Twitter entry process.
ELIGIBILITY:
This sweepstakes is open to legal residents of the United States (excluding Puerto Rico) over the age of 18 at time of entry. All federal, state, and local regulations apply. Void where prohibited. Employees of Random House, Inc., its parent, subsidiaries, affiliates, suppliers, and agencies, and their immediate family members and persons living in their household are not eligible to enter this sweepstakes.
WINNER SELECTION:
Four (4) Grand Prize Winners will be chosen at random by February 15, 2010, from all eligible entries received by the entry deadline. Odds of winning depends on the number of eligible entries received. Sponsor will notify Winner by sending a tweet. Winner will be required to provide his/her address for mailing of the prize.
PRIZE:
The Winners will receive one free copy each of the book YOU COULDN’T IGNORE ME IF YOU TRIED by Susannah Gora (ISBN: 978-0-307-40843-3), and one Grand Prize Winner will receive a free DVD of The Breakfast Club.
